Beginning in 2017, Michael Tarkington participated in the Federal Shared Neutrals Program, a mediation program administered by the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) serving federal agencies in the National Capital Region and other areas of the country. That experience included mediating disputes involving federal employees and agencies and contributed to MLT Resolutions’ understanding of workplace conflict, organizational dynamics, and disputes within government settings.

As a member of the Superior Court of Contra Costa Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) panel, we are recognized for our expertise and effectiveness in resolving disputes. This role involves mediating a variety of civil cases, helping parties reach amicable solutions outside of the courtroom. Our involvement with the ADR panel underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality mediation services.

We are also active members of the Alameda Superior Court ADR program, serving as Day of Court Mediators. This program involves mediating cases on the day they are scheduled for court, providing immediate and effective resolution options for litigants. Our active participation in this program highlights our ability to handle high-pressure situations and deliver prompt resolutions.

With close to 10 years of mediation experience, our team has worked with individuals on a wide range of issues, including family law, estate mediation, and civil matters. This extensive experience has equipped us with the skills and knowledge needed to handle diverse and complex disputes effectively.
